Fields of Grace spans three worlds of sacred expression in one rich soundscape: the old style of Irish Sean-nós, medieval Gregorian chant, and more recent songs from the English hymn tradition. Sharing the musical inheritance of their mother Nóirín Ní Riain, brothers Owen and Moley Ó Súilleabháin blend beautiful harmonies atop a bed of relaxing instrumentation to carry us into a timeless lineage shared by all. 

Owen and Moley Ó Súilleabháin grew up in a family deeply enriched by ancient and contemporary Irish culture. Based in the US, they travel extensively sharing their song, poetry, and story with audiences and organizations around the world.

Gorgeous, deep music

Been listening. It's so lovely! It calms me down, takes me higher, takes me deeper, and sends out beauty in all directions. I have a friend coming over tomorrow and I promised to play her The Beatitudes. But I'm not ready to let her borrow it. She'll have to get her own. Well done, Moley! Well done, Owen!

Uplifting brotherly sound

The blending of Owen and Moley's voices is truly unique; you can hear that they are related, and that beautiful brotherly sound makes this recording even more special. It makes the blend of traditional, even ancient songs with newly composed music and arrangement light and uplifting. I would love to see and HEAR this performed live.

This is true Irish music!

I've listened to the songs on Fields of Grace with the feeling that I've been waiting for them for many years! So often, Irish heritage in America is expressed as "pub songs" and sea shanties - overlooking entirely the ancient wisdom and spiritual beauty that Celtic culture and the history of that small island has to offer. Fields of Grace brings all of that heart, history, and hope to its listeners' ears!

Blissfully Transported

I cannot wait for the release of this full album! The four songs shared by Sounds True thus far have transported me to a heavenly space - mixing ancient Celtic refrains with beautiful new music... I know this music will find a home in my daily practice; I can't stop listening!
