About Angeles Arrien

Angeles Arrien, PhD (1940 – 2014) received her master’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and her doctorate from the California Institute for Integral Studies. Dr. Arrien's teachings bridge the disciplines of anthropology, psychology, and comparative religion, while focusing on universal beliefs shared by humanity. She lectured and led workshops internationally on cultural anthropology and transpersonal psychology at colleges, corporate settings, and personal growth facilities. Her books include The Four-Fold Way, The Second Half of Life, and Living in Gratitude, and her audio-learning programs include Gratitude, Gathering Medicine, and more.

I don't have the time to properly speak on the value these 2 CDs add to our lives, as we discover soul loss and repair and welcoming home...

Angeles Arrien, (deceased April 24, 2014) is a unique advocate for the healing of the planet. She will be missed by tens of thousands. She has bridged spiritual with cross-cultural (perennial) wisdom. I was captivated by her audio tapes, especially The Second Half of Life. When she appeared in my life with this application in 2000, I had been working with elders almost 40 years. Even though there had been much research on child development, there had been very little writing on later adult development and none with the consummate story-telling capacity of Angeles Arrien.
