Once I came into the world of The Mesa, I found don Oscar and explored his site "Heart of the Healer." I needed a beginner course to learn the basics before I jumped into the deeper end of "The Universal Shaman." The "Healing Light" CD set was the perfect answer for me. Through this CD course, I learned how to set up my Mesa in the Traditional Way of the Pachakuti Tradition. By teaching the five C's of Communion, Consecretion,Composition, and Cooperation, don Oscar leads us into the beauty of working the Mesa with the energies of Pachamama, MamaKilla, Wiracocha, Inti, and K'uychi. Don Oscar's presence, love, and power come thru the CD clearly and it is like being right with him. This has been a life-changing experience for me as I feel empowered to grow in my abilities to heal myself, others, and the world. I have deepened my relationship to the seen and unseen world in ways I have not experienced before.

I wasn't sure if shamanism would be a path I would pursue. Oscar Miro-Quesada gets across how shamanism can deepen our spiritual path from whatever walk of life we come from. I'm a devout Catholic but I have found his explanation very sacred and relevant to my beliefs, and could be incorporated into any practice. I don't understand what the other gentleman was expecting, but I found Oscar's voice quite profound, that he is being guided and creating a trancelike state for the listener to absorb the teachings, creating a sacred space to learn and understand. When he speaks you know he is fully present in the moment and is truly speaking to you. Thank you for this opportunity to learn from such a special teacher.
