About Noirin Ni Riain
Nóirín Ní Riain, a teacher and scholar of Irish music, has enchanted the world with her angelic voice. In 1979, Nóirín made the first of three important recordings with the choir of Benedictine monks at the Glenstal Abbey in Limerick, Ireland. For many years the monks at Glenstal personally filled orders for these precious works, restricting their distribution but adding to the legend of this voice of an angel.For the last ten years she has performed worldwide, often in association with international peace efforts.
