Full Description

The Blessed Mother appears to us in many guises and disguises. No matter what visage, no matter what part of the world, she comes to us in our need with irresistible strength and inexhaustible love. Join Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés for the Untie the Strong Woman series—four unforgettable evenings of stories, prayers, and blessings.

"There is a promise Holy Mother, Our Lady makes to us," explains Dr. Estés, "that any soul needing comfort, vision, guidance, or strength can cry out to her, flee to her protection, and thus, Blessed Mother will immediately arrive with veils flying. She will place us under her mantle for refuge, and give us that one thing the world so longs toward: the warmth of The Mother's most compassionate touch, and strong guidance about how to and which way to go, by the soul's lights."

In this online event, Dr. Estés invites you to encounter the force of Immaculate Love—so that your memory of Her is renewed, or else knowledge of her miraculous, fierce, enduring ways is drawn into your heart for the very first time. Join Dr. Estés to celebrate this universal force that invites us to see, to forgive, to be bold, to love, to read signs, and to listen to angels.

Untie the Strong Woman

Beautiful. Sacred. Oh my it makes my soul dance and sing, stand still in chaos. Dearest Clarissa, to listen to your mellifluous embodied voice imbued with the soul of our Lady with sacredness, grit, fun, with the wisdom of your aunt Edna (I know her as well from your other works, she’s a cracker) is …… tears well up….. no words suffice….. home. You invite my whole being to relax to move forward in grace. I love love love ‘ girl gang leader in heaven’, ‘compassionate heart with a knife in my boot that I’m not afraid to use’. May all the light of the sun and the moon which shines from the metal aura of Our Lady of Guadalupe fill you every moment as you give to all of across the world. Thank you for blessing my life. Thank you Tami Simon and all you at ST for going with your dream years ago for consistently day in day out digging planting creating for being a conduit for all that sounds true to me to us today.

It really does feel like she's telling stories by the fireside.

It really does feel like she's telling stories by the fireside. I'm writing this as I'm listening to part two, in which CPE manages to convey how her people took in the religion of their conquerors and poured their own meaning into it. She's such a natural, spontaneous storyteller, full of love and life. Why read her books when you can hear her talk instead?
