About Jack Kornfield

Jack Kornfield, PhD, trained as a Buddhist monk in Thailand, Burma, and India and has taught worldwide since 1974. He is one of the key teachers to introduce Buddhist mindfulness practices to the West. He is the co-founder of the Insight Meditation Society and of Spirit Rock Center in Woodacre, California. He is a husband, grandfather, and activist and holds a PhD in clinical psychology. What a Gift!

It is so precious and sacred to participate in the precipitations of a life so deeply immersed in wisdom honing, like breathing in honey of a bee who's journey has taken it to the sweetest and most unique blossoms this world has to offer. Pollen of Prajna Paramita, the Perfection of Wisdom!

Excellent set of teachings. Clear, concise and timeless wisdom beautifully presented with great humour and many lovely stories. Jack has such a beautiful spirit that really moves one effortlessly to recognise feelings of loving kindness that reside with us all.

Excellent and with many illustrations of each experiential part of the teaching. I highly recommend it . A very real truth sharing time giving perspective but relaxing in the way it effects your life. An open field in which to be.
