In both the East and West, we've inherited deeply embedded stories that shame and diminish us. But within us and all around us awaits a limitless love that has the power to heal and restore us to wholeness. In this audio gem—a favorite among our producers and editors—Adyashanti guides us into the experience of universal grace—a gift available to all of us at any time.
Full Description

From Shame to Wholeness—Inviting the Transformative Power of Grace

“So many of us hold a deep belief that we were born unworthy,” reflects Adyashanti, “inadequate, unlovable, and alone.” But what if, in truth, we weren’t put here to pay penance, change our karma, or “fix” ourselves? What if we chose to be here because we so loved the world that we poured ourselves into it—to make it whole again, to restore “the hidden divinity amid the disaster?” With Healing the Core Wound of Unworthiness, we’re invited to entertain that possibility.

Even after years of meditation, Adyashanti felt an enduring sense of self-disappointment and failure. And he sensed it in nearly everyone he met—even among the most confident, successful, and outwardly happy people. Then healing came to him in a profound experience of “redemptive love,” a reunion with the deepest ground of being. It is a gift offered to all of us—without struggle or the need to earn it. In essence, it says to us: This is how I love you. And this is how you shall love all things and all beings.

Join this lucid teacher and author as he offers insights, meditations, and questions to help you bring your own self-created suffering into awareness, receive unconditional grace, reunite with all that arises, and bring it into every dimension of your life.

Great talks and simple yet powerful practice

I’ve known for years that the stories I’ve been telling myself are unhelpful and listening to this has prompted me to shine a light into some painful places. I’m not scared of the cracks appearing now because I know that’s how Love gets in. I also had the realisation that I don’t have to do (or not do!) anything to be worthy, I just intrinsically am worthy. Still letting that one sink in……..

Thank you Adyashanti, this has been a huge gift🙏

Amazing!!

I have purchased a few of Adyashanti's audio products from Sounds True and this one is especially incredible. I found his talk about how the roots of eastern and western belief structures differ very helpful, which may seem obvious, but I have never heard it explained so clearly. The clarity revealed is truly profound and so simply explained!

Profound

I own several CD sets by Adyashanti, and just when I think he cannot get any more profound, he does. This set is the best......so far!

Excellent

As a previous reviewer said, this seems to have come at exactly the right moment for me. Adya's insights in the human condition, especially here in the West, resonate deeply with my experience. The idea that just perhaps my rigid self-assessment may possibly not be cast in stone (like a mill-stone round my neck!) is just wonderful. He calls it the invigorating breeze of 'I don't know'. As he says, it's not another 5-step program (thank goodness), but rather a stopping and allowing what he calls a 'crack' to open in our defensive armoring - defensive against grace/life/call-it-what-you-will.
