    Terrific teaching and so apropos

    Rabbi Rami's teaching is utterly amazing. Funny, challenging, insightful, provocative, and liberating are just a few of the descriptors that come to mind. I so love that he embraces religion, warts and all, and yet can use those very limitations as a springboard to dive into the ineffable Divine. The Holy Rascal helps to call out our religious baggage but without any underlying contempt or hatred. Very highly recommended.

    Outstanding Guide to becoming a Holy Rascal, and why you should!

    "You, (yes, YOU!), have a sacred mission to help set humanity free!" "God is real. Everything we say about God is made up" So reads the box containing Rabbi Rami Shapiro's latest offering, an 8 CD set entitled "How to be a Holy Rascal". The cover promises "a magical mystery tour to liberate your deepest wisdom, access radical compassion, and set yourself free"! Quite a promise! But after listening to the first 4 CD's today, I must say that in my opinion, Rabbi Rami delivers! He is playful, provocative, illuminating, and entertaining, and in short, all that you might imagine or hope a Holy Rascal to be. For those of us who know and love Rabbi Rami, this will come as no surprise. For the rest of you, you have a treat in store! This CD set provides a great overview and introduction to Rabbi Rami's thoughts and teaching, and more than his books allows you to experience his charismatic and engaging personality, which is a blend of wisdom teacher, Rabbi, scholar, stand-up comic, and more. The first 4 CD's provide a theoretical overview of Holy Rascaldom, and are titled, "The Education of a Holy Rascal", "What is a Holy Rascal?", "The God of Your Understanding", and "Is Religion Good or Bad" The next 4 promise to offer a set of practices to allow you, too, to become a Holy Rascal!. I look forward to enjoying them, and will add another review once I have done so.
