A provocative session about how the expression of our sexuality evolves in partnership.
Full Description

How can love come through each one of us more fully? How can we give our deepest gifts in relationship? David Deida discusses how the expression of our sexuality can evolve through three stages. The third stage begins when you become disillusioned with trying to get what you want (stage one) and equally disillusioned with trying to give others what they want (stage two). In this provocative Sounds True Pearl, he explains why "it is only when you offer yourself to be lived by something larger than you are you happy."

Sounds True Pearls bring you inspirational and insightful downloadable audio sessions selected from our most popular courses. Ranging between 15–40 minutes each, Sounds True Pearls offer a concise way to explore topics from meditation and spiritual practice to mind-body healing, the art of manifestation, and more. This session is excerpted from David Deida's 6-CD program Enlightened Sex .

Must counteract the only other review

This is an earlier work of David Deida, who is a gfted and incredible teacher in the world of masc/femme relationships and the "yoga" of sexuality. This 3 stages is VERY basic DD, but without it you won't understand his regular references to 1st, 2nd, 3rd stage relating. His books are really good, but his audio or video is even better because he has such an amazing presence and presents with depth as well as humor and compassion. DD is the conrnerstone of my personal belief system into the mysteries of men & women. Highly recommend getting started here.

Review for The Three Stages of Intimacy

This was very disappointing. To be honest, I didn't even finish listening I was so bored. Sorry... but both my orders were similarly un-inspiring and I won't be purchasing anything more.
