Full Description

If self-improvement worked, it would have by now, teaches Cheri Huber. Getting where you want to be has everything to do with awareness, and nothing to do with willpower.

On Unconditional Self-Acceptance, this Zen-trained teacher offers us an effective process to release the blocked energies and conditioned messages that keep us from attaining our personal and professional goals. In this full-length audio retreat, listeners will learn more about:

  • How to be your own mentor
  • The Five Steps of Acceptance—transforming difficult emotions into sources of strength
  • How to develop reflective listening skills for interacting with others as well as ourselves
  • 10 guided imagery sessions, including a simple practice that can be used in any situation when overwhelmed by strong feelings, and more
  • How to stop knee-jerk reactions to events with the gentle energy of witness consciousness
  • How to use key meditations for sparking compassionate self-awareness

A complete six-hour, guided do-it-yourself retreat that won't make you any better, just a lot happier and much more alive!

I liked it alot.

I loved it. It helped me a lot. Sadly, I was in a car accident that totaled my car and the CDs got stock in the car's CD player. I recommend it to anyone.

Review for Unconditional Self-Acceptance

Still working on this course. Just wanted to say you have nothing to lose by trying it because you could spend heaps more on a therapist, and with this you can refer back or replay anytime you need to. Cheri is easy to listen to, easy to understand - feels like she knows what is going on in your own head! She makes a lot of sense. Finding out - "what makes me tick? Why do I react/think the way I do?" - brings awareness of how we came to our methods of coping/not coping ... I can even squeeze out some compassion for the child within me who had to survive without the loving guidance that could have made a huge difference, rather than being my own inner critic. Definitely worth letting go of - "Should I buy this or not?? " - and just seize the moment and go for it. What have you got to lose?
